Change in Next Kraftwerke's Core Management
Effective September 1, Johannes Viehmann, currently Head of Trading at Next Kraftwerke, will take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), thereby assuming the responsibilities of Mark Lindenberg, who is stepping down from Core Management and resigning his position as Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
“The past 15 years at Next have been an extremely exciting and formative time for me. Together with a dedicated team, we have achieved a lot, built up the company, and contributed to the ener-gy transition. After this intensive phase, it is time for me to explore new paths,” explains Mark Lindenberg his decision.
Mark Lindenberg worked for Next Kraftwerke for over 15 years and, during this time, played a decisive role in establishing and further developing the product portfolio as well as shaping the company’s strategic direction.
CEO Marc Rühs acknowledges his contribution to the development of the business model: “We are very grateful to Mark for having been with Next for over 15 years. He played a key role in building the product portfolio and shaping Next into what it is today, thereby laying the foundation for our success as Next. We sincerely thank him for his dedication.”
Going forward, Johannes Viehmann will oversee all commercial divisions at Next Kraftwerke which consist of Product Management, Business Development, Trading and Commercial. “I thank Mark for what he has achieved for Next over the past 15 years. At the same time, I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and the trust placed in me. Consolidating all commercial activities gives us the opportunity to operate even more closely with the market and our custom-ers. I approach this responsibility with a strong sense of commitment. Coming from a trading background, I will place a particular focus on further strengthening our customer perspective. I look forward to actively shaping Next’s next phase of growth together with the team and to contin-ue developing marketing models that are profitable for our customers,” emphasizes Johannes Viehmann.
Next Kraftwerke’s Core Management will consist of Marc Rühs, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) /statutory director, Katrin Jedamzik, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)/statutory director, Johannes Viehmann, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and Yannik Kern, Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
